Cat's and spoiling them

Question:

Does anyone here totally spoil their Cat? Like throwing them a party or basically serving their every wim whenever they meow or want something. I know that whenever my Cat meows or cries when sitting near the door I usually have to drop what I am doing to take her for a walk. A lot of times I walk her 3 times within a 1 hour period when I get home. I also seem to fall victim when she wants to try what daddy is eating. One thing’s for sure, my Isis is truly a Queen.

Oh yes! When Miss Moose wants a drink out of the sink, she sits on the counter in the bathroom and meow this very distinctive meow.  My husband and I take turns getting up to water her. She is also allowed to sleep on half of my pillow at night.  Now that’s love! Lynn Lynn Short: gardener, cat lover, social worker, musician and all-around nice woman.

Response:

I must admit, my Cat loves to drink from the faucet as well and often times will run ahead of me and sit on the side of the tub until I turn it on for her. Right now the privilage has been revoked because the maintenance people in my apartment complex have been fixing a leak that caused the water in the apartment above me to flow into my bathroom and now that the leak has been fixed they still need to fill the gaping hole that is in my bathroom ceiling. Thus, I can use the shower and toilet and my Cat is deprived of one of her bathroom rituals. Luckily, I live in a two bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms. So my Cat still has a place to use to her litterbox as well as another faucet to drink out of. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text ->Does anyone here totally spoil their Cat? > Oh yes! > When Miss Moose wants a drink out of the sink, she sits on the counter in the > bathroom and meow this very distinctive meow.  My husband and I take turns > getting up to water her. > She is also allowed to sleep on half of my pillow at night.  Now that’s love! > Lynn > Lynn Short: gardener, cat lover, social worker, musician and all-around nice > woman.

Grin.. Rana sleeps curled up BETWEEN my legs, and Pyret behind them. When I want to roll over in the night, I carefully crawl to the head of the bed, turn over, and then slide back down so as not to disturb them from their settled positions! Rebecca Remove "not" when replying by email

It’s a comforting feeling to be able to spoil something. You daren’t spoil the children. I doubt any cat is more pampered and spoiled than my Katie. Whatever she wants, she gets and if it is something I want, like a chair, so be it. In return, she gives a lot of love which my heart relishes. Hazel

Geez….nice to know I’m not alone  :>  I’ve gotten my 2 kittens (Axl and Rose) 2 6.5 foot "kitty condos"…one for the living room for when I’m home and they want to play…and one in the bedroom so they can play while I sleep. They both sleep with me as well when they tire out…one above my head on my pillow, and the other at my side so I can pet her while I sleep…..’ Of course, if I’m not doing that they will lick my nose or tap my face with their paws when they want attention :> I haven’t taken either of them outside yet..can’t get either of them to stay in a collar…..but Axl is getting bold about running out the front door when I get home…as I live upstairs…she is now investigating the landing and the neighbors  :> They are spoiled rotten  :> > Does anyone here totally spoil their Cat?
