Buck Masters

Question:

I recieved a call from Buck Masters tonight, They started out with asking me how I did this last season and then made some chit chat seemed nice enough. To make a long story sort, I ended up buying a 3 year subsciption. It included a gift pack with a 2hr hunting video a skinning knife(a cheep one I’m sure) a bottle of Tinks 69 and a membership to BM . It coast 64 dollars and change split into 4 monthely payments. Before I send them my first payment I would like some feedback from my fellow hunters. Does this seem like a good deal? I pride myself on being a pretty good bussines man,but I did’nt take the time to think about it. I just did It. I really like there magazine,so I hope It was a wise decision.          thanks             Big Ben Visit the rec.hunting and rec.hunting.dogs FAQ Home Page at:         http://sportsmansweb.com/hunting/

If you like the magazine, then it was worth it. I like to read anything I get my hands on, when it comes to the outdoors and hunting. But I find today’s magazine’s headed in a wrong direction. To much advertising, and the stories are to serious. Also the places they hunt on the show are just game farms, not real hunting by my stander’s. But then again, not much choice when their is not to many wild places left to hunt. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – > I recieved a call from Buck Masters tonight, They started out with > asking me how I did this last season and then made some chit chat seemed > nice enough. > To make a long story sort, I ended up buying a 3 year subsciption. The same thing just happened to me except it was for a 5 yr membership for approximately $100.  I accepted the offer over the phone as you did but after thinking about it I figured I was paying almost $5 per issue (4 issues per year) and decided for myself that it wasn’t worth it.  When I got the invoice last week, I wrote "CANCEL" on it and sent it back.

I subscribed for 3 years too. I think it is a good deal, they have very good articles and lots of information that hunters of all skill levels can benefit from. The Gerber knife is a good little skinner too! Visit the rec.hunting and rec.hunting.dogs FAQ Home Page at:         http://sportsmansweb.com/hunting/

My son subscribed for one year…..He has been hassled for years from Buck Masters to subscribe again….He has asked to be put on do not call list with no avail…..Buck Masters or their subcontractors are a pain in the ass……Try their magazine only if you want to be hassled for the rest of your life…… Visit the rec.hunting and rec.hunting.dogs FAQ Home Page at:         http://sportsmansweb.com/hunting/
