I’ve never used that particular line, but I’ve had very good luck with Sherwin-Williams paint. Rick Marinelli
Response:
I was told by the Sherwin-Williams dealer that the warranty for Duration is the same as for their SuperPaint if the Duration is installed by a professional painter. The Duration only has a lifetime warranty if it is put on by the homeowner. When asked why, the dealer told me that homeowners generally don’t thin the paint like some paint contractors do. Anybody have an opinion or experience with Sherwin-Williams Duration house paint? The claim by the painter who was talking to me today was that a single coat will do, and there is a lifetime warranty from Sherwin-Williams (although the details on the warranty were unclear). He also claimed that with the extreme weather here (Minnesota), within a few years 60% or more of his work will be with this paint. Of course I’m always a skeptic. Ron Scott
