You could try reducing the price, but they may not do that. The sales price is public information, available from the land records office that your local government maintains; astute buyers will see your reduction, and demand at least that.. You might try getting options for "free", or have them chip in for settlement fees. Maybe the first year real estate taxes. Also, check around for mortgages. The builder will be more flexible with "throw ins" than with lowering the selling price. Lowering the selling price affects his ability to sell the other unirs, as that’s a matter of public record. Throwing in a little landscaping, a microwave, D/W, W/D, whatever doesn’t impact his ability to sell his other units at "sticker" price. —Jim
