Cat Found Abandonded

Question:

Here is one more update on the cat. I’ll be hopefully getting her a carrier today and then driving her to the low cost veterinary clinic at the AHS. They said it will cost $30 for the FELV check and the shot (Feline Leukemia vaccine) that goes with it. Then on Monday they are having another clinic which I can bring her back for other shots which are $8 with the inlusion of a rabies shot which costs $15. I hope this is good enough but it sure eats up a lot of gas. — Cat Galaxy- The Internet radio station for cats. Response:

I called a couple of rescues and they were less than helpful as was my vet. The best suggestion was buying a carrier from a thrift store at the Arizona Humane Society which are usually used. They are the small cat sized carriers. I’d like a bigger one but this looks like the best thing I can do. I got the management in the complex to agree to house her at that apartment for one more day. She should be ok. — Cat Galaxy- The Internet radio station for cats.
