Question:
My Bcc has always been territorial of his cage. But once out of the cage he is fine. But getting him out usually needs to be done cautiously. Sometimes he does step right up oto my finger, but other times I have to grab him. When I grab him he usually fusses a little but doesn’t really object. Other times I have to grab him and tolerate a few bites, but once out, he is fine. If I ever try to use a dowel for him to step up, he attacks it. Lately, he has been more aggressive than ever when I remove him from his cage. He won’t allow me to approach him when he is o his T-stand and that has never been the case before. Today when I went to remove his water dish he charged and attacked my hand. He usually just sits and watches me. I tried again with the same result. I had to put gloves on. I thought I would humble hi a little by placing him on th floor of another room while I took care of the other birds. Whenever he is on the floor I can easily have him step up onto my finger. Before I knew it, he was right there climbing up my video cameras tripod right next to me. I tried to pick him up but he attacked and ended up back on the floor. I tried again and he attacked again. What makes todays events seem really strange is that just yesterday he
