Miss Marple starts to play!!

Question:

What a great story.  How nice that Miss Marple is playing! Your plans for her while you are away couldn’t be better!  You are so fortunate, a built-in, caring sitter. Barb

Response:

Great news about the playing! : Final question: This weekend we go away for a 2 weeks boating trip on the : Themse… I rather feel to stay with her, but we can’t shift the holidays. : So my mother will move in our house and stay with Miss Marple for 2 weeks. : Any suggestions how to make it easier for M.M. so she doesn’t miss us too : much (old T-shirt in her basket? etc.?) and any suggestions what to do on : our return??? The T-shirt’s a good idea, or put a towel on your pillow for a couple of nights and give her that.  When you get back, just make much of her.  Good for you for getting your mother to move in.  That’s what I do when I go away for a week or more.  They love their "Granny" and she loves to have three cats to cuddle with.  They’re very different personalities than her cat, so it’s an especial treat for her. Hi! Thanks for your answers and I feel much better that you both reassured me in our plans. My Mum is excited about the idea "having holidays with our cat" and I am sure they both will have a great time. After the 2 weeks it might be hard for Miss Marple to get used of being alone again. But she will manage that too. Returning from our holidays we have the full weekend with her. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -> Good morning to you all! > Following all your kind advices reg. Miss Marple’s vocalizing at night we managed to get an almost undisturbed sleep… But so far all our attempts to play with her "cat games" were not very successful. My husband and I like the "cat dancer" and "cat charmer" respectively – but we have to order them, until now we did not find anything like that in European stores.
