Light Weight Artificial Planting Medium?

Bruce,  Thanks for your tip & link.  I’m seriously considering using Isolite in my Bio/Veggie filter, which is under construction.  I am using a 1/2 whisky barrel and I wanted to fill the middle of it with either bio-balls or furnace filter medium.  Your suggestion seems to be a-lot better!  Since roots don
