I recently did the same thing. A new company has started up down here in OZ. It is a combo insurer & data-tag system. You purchase a coded , non-removable id chip & insurancee that is cheaper ‘cos the recovery rates are higher. the system was imported here from Britain, so you should be able to find it. It’s called Data-Tag out here & is used not only for bicycles, but motor cycles boats & other such nickable stuff. Good luck! Hope you never have need of it!! Reg F.
