leaving radio on?

Question:

>Off topic… >… *I* think it cruel to leave a dog alone for 8-10 hours.

And *we* think it’s cruel to feed a dog generic dog food, cause it’s all you can afford if you’re on welfare and HOME all day. Peter, do you ever leave the house to go to work? Or are you still in school? Twzl & Sligo —

If I have to leave my dogs alone for that long I would get them a babysitter, not a radio. — HBSc Computer Studies/GIS               Telnet:  192.75.12.103 Trent University                       Peterborough, Ontario, Canada         "Programmers Give Better Output!" I’m curious to know if you noticed a change in your dog’s behavior to let you know this was helpful for him?  I missed the beginning of this thread, but I have been pondering this issue lately, so would love to hear from folks who have experience!  thanks!   -Lou and Chewie, PWD — Lou Newkirk-Ledo                 CEE/UC Department of Counseling

We used to do this at night when our Springer was young. I thought it was a good idea, don’t know what our dog thinks about it. John Fox
